11. OPERATION BASED ON FREQUENCY CONVERTER
WARNING!
The power of motors paired with frequency
converters must be downgraded by 10% and the
motor's maximum frequency must not be exceeded.

12. USE, STARTING AND RUNNING
12.1. GENERAL WARNINGS
WARNING!
Do not start the machine until it has been
positioned and installed in its final place of
operation ensure that the motor terminal box is
fully closed.
Before the start-up, check the motor's insulation
resistance, which must be exceed 400 MΩ.
a) avoid frequent starts motor stops (Chapter 7.1);
b) in case of power outages it is good to interrupt the supply circuit.
13. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
WARNING!
Do not start the machine until it has been
positioned and installed in its final place of
operation ensure that the motor terminal box is
fully closed.
WARNING!
Do not perform any intervention on the
4OY motor: highly flammable
compressed gases may form.
Submersible motors do not require any type of scheduled routine main-
tenance, therefore:
a) do not carry out any type of repairs on the motor;
b) do not open the motor filling cap as 4OY motors do not require any
topping up of the oil.
In the event of any type of motor malfunction, contact the authorised
technical assistance centre and provide the code of the motor pur-
chased.
14. DISPOSAL
When scrapping the product, observe local waste disposal regulations.
The user is responsible for the disposal of the equipment and has to
take it to a recycling authorized facility.
