Introduction
This safety section describes the functional safety information about the EC-PA-DQ1 + GAD/SAD/LAD Single Channel Safety Encoder (SCSE) which is
required to use it in a two encoder safety system in conjunction with a SINUMERIK 840Dsl, software version V4.7 SP2 HF1 or higher (including SINAMICS
drive systems).
Identification
The EC-PA-DQ1 + GAD/SAD/LAD SCSE is the combination of an EC-PA-DQ1 DRIVE-CLiQ adapter and a GAD, SAD or LAD encoder model. For SCSE
applications both elements must have SCSE capability. The items have SCSE capability for the following versions or higher.
