Make sure the power supply is kept away from
water and damp areas.
Prior to starting the pump, check for flawed or

The power supply must be disconnected before
carrying out any work on the pump.
If the pump is installed in a sink / drain, the sink
must be covered after installation to protect pas-
sing-by pedestrians.
The discharge pipe must be positively fixed by
means of a hose clamp.
Do not exceed the maximum submergence (see
technical data)
In order that damages (room flooding, etc.) cau-
sed by a pump malfunction (anomaly or defect)
can be prevented, the owner (user) must take
adequate safety measures (install an alarm sys-
tem, stand –by pump or similar).
If the bottom is sandy or muddy, the pump must
be hanged from a rope or chain or placed onto
a proper base to prevent the suction area from
sinking into the bottom.
Damaged supply lines must be replaced by the
manufacturer or technical assistance service, or
else, by a qualified engineer.
Please note that in accordance with current re-
gulations involving damages caused by this type
of equipment, the manufacturer will not be held
