Before cleaning the machine, always make sure
that the power supply is disconnected and wait
until the machine cools.
It is advisable to rinse the water tank daily and to
refill it with fresh water. Do not leave water in the
circuit for over 3 days or, should this happen, then
run a water supply (without capsule) before starting
a coffee supply. Empty and clean the drip tray each
two-three days or when it is full. Do not use a micro-
wave or a traditional oven to dry the machine or its
parts. Never use alkaline cleaners, solvents, alcohol
or aggressive substances. Do not immerse the ma-
chine in water. Do not wash the machine by using
high-pressure water. Unless otherwise specified, all
parts of the machine that cannot be removed (ex-
cept electrical) will be washed using cold or luke-
warm water and non-abrasive cloth or sponge.

Remove the drop holder tray / used capsule

compartment.
Remove and empty the inner used capsule drawer.

Check periodically to see if the capsule drawer is
full in order to prevent malfunction and damage
to the machine.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

You can clean the upper and lower drop holder

trays as well as the cup grid stand. Put the com-
ponents aside and wash them by using cold
or warm water, then dry them up and fit them
back into their correct positions.
DECALCIFICATION
The formation of calcium or lime is a normal conse-
quence of using the machine; decalcifica-tion/desca-
ling should be done after every 3 or 4 months of us-
age and/or when a reduced flow of water is noticed.
To decalcify the machine, you will have to use a de-
calcifier (of the non-toxic and non-harmful type)
available on the market, expressly intended for cof-
fee machines and guaranteed in compliance with
the standards and regulations in force.
Never use vinegar as a decalcifying agent. Do not
swallow or cause any other person to swallow the
decalcifier. Burning hazard, the decalcifying solu-
tion will be supplied at high temperatures.
Empty the tank and fill it with a decalcification

product dissolved in water as specified on the
decalcification package, turn on the machine
and place a container under the spout.
Press the coffee dispenser button and fill a cup-ful.

Turn off the machine, let it sit for 10 -15 minutes

and repeat operations [2] and [3] until the tank
is empty.
Remove the tank, wash and fill it up with fresh

drinking water, then fit the tank back into place
and put a container below the supplying device.
Wait until the machine heats up, press the cof-

fee dispenser button and let it run until the tank
is empty.
Repeat steps [4] and [5] described above. If the

decalcifier instructions provide for a greater
amount than two tanks of this machine for rin-
sing, repeat steps [4] and [5] again.
