OPERATION
Ignition of pilot flame
Press and turn the control knob to the pilot position
Press the knob and light the pilot flame keeping the knob pressed for at least 10 s (fig. 1).
Release the knob and check that the pilot flame continues to burn (fig. 2). If it goes out, repeat the ignition operation.
Normal operation
Press and turn the control knob to on position
Supplying power to the automatic shut-off valve, gas flow is opened to the main burner (fig.4). The outlet pressure is
now selected by the modulating device (MD):
824 NOVA - MD energized - Max outlet pressure;
MD not energized - minimum pressure.
825 NOVA - the outlet pressure depends on the supply current (see modulating characteristics)
Stand-by position
To keep the main burner off and the pilot flame on, press and turn the control knob to the pilot position
Turning off
Press and turn the knob to the off position
IMPORTANT: The re-start interlock prevents the ignition of the appliance during the closing time of the thermoelectric
flame failure device (approx. 60 s). After this period, the closure of the magnet unit allows the ignition operation (fig. 6).
