4.1.3 Line Filter

Danger of shock hazard
For measurements in circuits with voltages V (RMS) > 30 V, suitable measures (e.g.
appropriate measuring equipment, fusing, current limiting, electrical separation,
insulation) should be taken to avoid any hazards.
As described in Fig. 3, the line filter must be connected to the transformer (see also Fig. 6).
When the power switch is activated and the 230 V supply voltage is present, 230 V AC
should be present between outputs A and D of the line filter. For 115 V supply voltage, 115
V should be present between outputs A and D and between outputs B and C. If this is not
the case, check the line filter and exchange it as required.

Make sure that the connections between the line filter and transformer are bound
together with a cable tie to eliminate the possibility of an electrical connection between
the primary and secondary sides of the transformer (see Fig. 6).
