The control unit has three LEDs (6B/6C/6D), a synchronisation button (6A) and a slider switch (6E):
Green LED (6B) has a steady light when the main
switch is ON.
Blue LED (6C) signals error messages relating to the
caravan battery.
Blue LED (6C) flashes (2x flash, pause, 2x flash,
pause, etc.):
Blue LED (6C) flashes (4x flash, pause, 4x flash,
pause, etc.):
Red LED (6D) flashes (6x flash, pause, 6x flash, pause,
etc.):
Generally speaking, all errors are reset automatically after one minute. If this is not the case, switch off
the electronics of the AL-KO support system and the remote control for at least 15 seconds using the
main switch. Then switch them back on.
Synchronisation button (6A):
The remote control and control unit are already synchronised at the factory. If, however, the remote
control or control unit are replaced, they have to be synchronised with one another again as described
in section "Synchronisation of the remote control with a new control unit".
Lifting load switch (6E):
The system can be used for both light and heavy caravans.
1. Set the correct current limit with slider switch (6E) on the control unit.
L:
Low current for caravans up to 800 - 1200 kg
M:
Normal current for caravans in the range from 1200 to 1700 kg
H:
High current for caravans in the range from 1700 to 2500 kg
The conditions for the lifting force differ, depending on the caravan chassis or caravan floor. The list here
therefore contains only indicative values.
WARNING!
During the setting it is therefore important to ensure that the caravan floor / chassis is not over-
loaded when supporting the caravan.
