SAFETY SYM BOLS
DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION statements are used throughout this
Owner's Manual to emphasize critical and important information. Read
and follow these statements to help ensure safety and prevent property
damage.
The statements are defined below.
C A U T I O N
CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situa-
tion or unsafe practice which, if not avoided, may
result in minor or moderate injury.
W A R N I N G
WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situa-
tion which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.

ELECTRIC SHOCK POSSIBLE
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when
using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:
• Read all instructions before using the Refrigerator.
• Risk of child entrapment. Child entrapment and suffocation
are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned applianc-
es are still dangerous even if they will "just sit in the garage a
few days". Remove refrigerator door prior to disposal.
• Before you throw away your old Refrigerator: Take off
the door. Leave the shelves in place so that children may not
easily climb inside.
• Never allow children to play with, or crawl inside the
appliance.
• Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes
can create a fire hazard or explosion.
• Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The
fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion. Do not store
explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant in this appliance.
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate
the defrosting process, other than those recommended
by the manufacturer.
• To avoid a hazard due to instability of the appliance, it
must be fixed in accordance with the instructions.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are the
type recommended by the manufacturer.
• The refrigerant of this appliance is R600a. Flam-
mable and explosive articles should not be put in
or near the Refrigerator to avoid fire or explosion.
• Keep flammable material and vapors such as
gasoline away from the refrigerator. Only use
nonflammable cleaner.
• Disposal of this appliance should be in accor-
dance with federal and local regulation.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.

• This product is safety certified for use in the United States
and/or Canada only. Do not modify for use in any other
location. Modification will result in a safety hazard
