INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
• Remove the exterior and interior packing.
• Before connecting the Refrigerator to the power source,
let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours. This will
reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system from handling during transportation.
• Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a
soft cloth.
• Install the handle on the door.

INSTALLATION OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR

• The appliance is designed for built-in or recessed or free
standing installation for indoor or outdoor use.
• For free standing installation, 5 inches (127mm) of space
between the back and sides of the unit are suggested,
which allows the proper air circulation to cool the com-
pressor and condenser. Even for built-in installation, it is a
must to keep ¼" (6.35mm) space on each side and at the
top. Take care that the air vent at the front of the appliance
is never covered or blocked in any way.
• Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
• CAUTION: This appliance is not designed for the storage of
medicine or other medical products.
• Two people should be used when moving the appliance.
• Place your Refrigerator on a floor that is strong enough to
support it when it is fully loaded.
• This appliance uses flammable refrigerant. Take precaution
to avoid damaging coolant pipe work during movement.
Locate the Refrigerator away from direct sunlight and
sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sun-
light may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may
increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient
temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform
properly.
• Plug the Refrigerator into an exclusive, properly
installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circum-
stances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from
the power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or
grounding should be directed to a certified electrician or
call 1-800-448-2177 for general product assistance
• Warning! If you must use an extension cord, for your
safety:
• Use only outdoor type with 3 prong grounding plug, rated
for 15 amperes or more, approved by UL, marked with
a W-A and a tag stating "Suitable for Use with Outdoor
Appliance".
• Use the shortest length extension cord required. A
12-gauge extension cord of 50 ft. or less is acceptable.
• Keep connections dry and off ground.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table top or other items
where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE LIMITS
• Do not install in a location where temperature will fall below
44°F or go above 106°F. For best performance, do not install
the Refrigerator behind a cabinet door or block the base grille.
• It is recommended you install the appliance in a place where
the ambient temperature is between 44° and 106°F (7°C-
41°C). If the ambient temperature is above or below the
recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may
be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or
hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate.
The range of 34° - 43°F (1 ° - 6°C) may not be reached.

FRONT VENT

• This appliance is front breathing. Do not block the front air
vent as this will result in high operating temperatures, higher
energy usage and possible system overheating and failure.
