8.2.5 GEARBOX
CHECK OIL LEVEL
(a)
Release screws on both sides of cover and
remove cover over gearbox and clutch shaft.
(b)
Remove filler plug (C) and using the straight
dipstick check level of oil.
(c)
Top up, if necessary, to level indicated on the
dipstick with recommended oil.
(d)
Replace filler plug, refit cover and secure with
screws.
Dispose of used engine oil in accordance with
local regulations
8.2.6 LANDROLL
CHECK OIL LEVEL
(a)
Position machine so that the filler plug (D) in
the Landroll is visible between the rear engine
bearer and the chassis cross stay. This
position gives correct angle for the cranked
dipstick.
(b)
Clean around head of the plug and remove
plug from Landroll.
(c)
Using the cranked dipstick (supplied) check
level of oil.
(d)
Top up, if necessary, to the level indicated on
the dipstick with recommended oil.
(e)
Replace plug securely after checking level of
oil.
