OPERATION (LONG PROGRAM)
The R-080060 washer & polymeriser performs both
polymerisation and shower functions. It should be
used as follows:
Place the large muffle trays into the bottom of
the tank.
Fill the tank with water up to 3-4 cm below the
shower tray support (the small cross-member
used to hold muffle trays for washing). There
should always be at least 12 cm of water in the
tank.
Place the muffles in the tank, ensuring that they
are completely covered with water. Close the
cover.
Switch on the main switch (D). The lamps on
the control panel will light up to indicate that the
R-080060 washer & polymeriser is running.
Lamp (3) comes on when the heating element
is running. When the set temperature is
reached the control panel automatically controls
the heating element to hold that temperature
steady in the tank.
Press (6 L) Long and then program the washer
& polymeriser as
programming, hold down Start/Stop (8) for one
second and the unit will start up automatically.
When polymerisation time is completed the R-
080060 washer & polymeriser disconnects
automatically and buzzes for one minute. The
buzzer can be cancelled by pressing W/T (9).
Lamp (5) also lights up. Open the cover
carefully, as outrushing steam from the tank
could cause burns. Always use long protective
gauntlets, a mask and tongs for muffles.

Ensure that the shower is disconnected before
removing the muffles. If you are not completely
sure how the unit works, switch off at the main
switch
(D)
before
muffles. If the shower comes on unexpectedly it
can cause major burns.
The shower can be turned on at any time during
the long program (polymerisation + shower) by
pressing key (10), and turned off by pressing
(10) again. The shower works only when the
temperature requirements (between 55 and 95
ºC) are met.
If the shower is stopped via (10) and re-started
in less than one minute (e.g. after checking how
muffle cleaning is going) the program will re-
start from the point where it left off. If the
stoppage is longer than one minute the
program restarts from the beginning.
If the water temperature is higher than 95 ºC
when the shower key (10) is pressed the unit

When starting and stopping the shower ensure

SHORT
PROGRAM
OPERATION
The R-080060 washer & polymeriser has a shower
function especially designed to scald muffles. To
use it correctly, proceed as follows:
Fit the muffle trays into the top support inside
the tank.
Place the muffles on the tray, using long
gauntlets, a mask and muffle tongs. Place them
so that the jet of water from the injector sprays
the muffle thoroughly. Close the cover.
The water used for the shower is water from
inside the tank. A closed circuit enables this
water to be recycled. This means that the
scalding temperature is that shown on the
display
Press (6 S) Short (shower only) to enter
programming mode. Program the shower
temperature and time on the control panel as
indicated above.
Hold down the Start/Stop button for one
second. The short shower program can then be
run when required by pressing (10). When the
shower is running control display (2) will show
the time remaining until the shower stops
automatically, and display (1) will show the
water temperature in the tank. The shower can
also be stopped manually at any time by
pressing (10).
Once the set shower time is completed, open
the cover carefully, as outrushing steam from
the tank could cause burns. Use long gauntlets
and a face mask. Remove muffles with special
tongs. Close the cover.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Clean the inside of the tank after every 60
hours' operation approximately, by heating the
water to 75 ºC, then emptying the tank through
the drainage tap at the back. Then unplug the
R-080060 washer & polymeriser and clean the
inside of the tank with a fine scourer moistened
in soapy water, taking care not to damage the
heating element or temperature probe. Special
products for cleaning polymerisers may also be
used. Rinse the inside of the tank with plenty of
water and then close the drainage tap.
For easy access to the tank of the unit, the
shower spray tube can be dismounted by
turning the quick-lock collar to the left. Ensure
