For best results

• Install the motion sensor 6-8 feet above ground
(motion sensor is less sensitive above 8 feet).
• Locate motion sensor so motion moves across detection
zone (Fig. 1).
• Locate sensor away from heat producing sources to
prevent false triggering. Also, be very careful not to include objects such as
windows, white walls and water in the detection zone whenever possible.
• Locate sensor away from moving objects such as street traffic.
Mounting your motion sensor (transmitter)
Step 1:
Using both thumbs, press down and back on the
battery door located on the bottom of the sensor
head. Insert (4) AA alkaline batteries making sure
to observe proper polarity orientation located on
back of sensor head (Fig. 2). Once batteries are in
place use both thumbs to gently press down and
slide battery door back into place. Allow 60 seconds after
batteries are installed before testing (see "How to operate your fixture"
for testing instructions).
Step 2: Locate motion sensor 6-8 feet above ground and
use screws included to attach the sensor to a flat
solid surface (Fig. 3). Your sensor can be wall or
ceiling mounted. You will need to rotate head
from side to side to allow space to get to screws,
as you insert and tighten each screw in the
sensor mounting plate.
Step 3: Aim sensor head (see Step 4 and 5 under "How to operate
your fixture").
Indoor alarm/lamp control module (receiver)
Your indoor alarm/lamp control module is ready to plug in and use. There is no
installation required. This module sounds a warning chime and can turn on any
indoor lamp up to 300 watts that is plugged into the module.
