How to operate your fixture
Step 1: Make sure the motion sensor and indoor module
are set to the same house code (fixtures will come
from factory already set to the same code). You
may reset the house code by turning the dial on
the bottom of the sensor head and the back of the
indoor module to the same number (Fig. 4).
There are 16 different selections.
Step 2: Move slide switch on bottom of sensor head to
"TEST". Set sensitivity knob to medium (halfway).
Step 3: Plug indoor alarm/lamp module into any indoor wall outlet and plug
lamp into module if desired, and make sure lamp is turned to the
ON position.
Step 4: Aim sensor head toward desired detection area. Make sure sensor
head is positioned with the control switches facing towards the ground
and at a 15º down angle. The angle may need to be adjusted to
detect desired range.
Step 5: Walk across the detection zone at the farthest distance you wish your
detector to detect motion. Adjust sensitivity and head angle until you
get desired results.
Step 6: Locate screw at the bottom of the mounting plate.
Tighten screw snugly being careful not to over
tighten (Fig. 5).
Step 7: Locate screw at the joint between sensor head and
mounting plate and tighten snugly being careful not
to over tighten (Fig. 6).
Step 8: Move slide switch to 4 MIN or 12 MIN (AUTO mode).
Your indoor alarm will sound and/or indoor lamp will
turn on in the AUTO setting at night when motion is detected outside.
