1/ Check the integrity of all the components of the rescue kit, in particular make sure that there are no marks, deformations,
cracks, traces of corrosion, or wear. Carefully check the condition of the sheaves of the hoisting kit in order to ensure the
proper functioning of the pulleys. Carefully check the eccentric cam on the descender to make sure it does not damage the rope.
Carefully check the rope along its entire length, it must not have any cuts, burns, frayed threads, etc. Check the condition of the
rope ends and the condition of the connectors.
For a proper verification, refer to the verification directions specific to each component, in the individual instructions for
them.
If you are in any doubt as to the condition of any of the components in the kit, do not use it and/or return it to the manufacturer or
a competent person authorised by the manufacturer.
2/ If all the components are in good condition, repack the kit as it was originally; the diagram below indicates how to repack the
kit.
