CONTRAINDICATIONS

• CAUTION! Do not use over any suspicious or
cancerous lesion. The effect of this device on
suspicious or cancerous lesions is unknown.
• CAUTION! Do not use if you are sensitive to light.
Doing so may result in a photosensitive reaction.
• CAUTION! Do not use if you are taking drugs
known to make you sensitive to light. Common
examples of drugs that may make you sensitive
to light include: Antihistamines used in cold and
allergy medicines; Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory
Drugs (NSAIDs), used to control pain and
inflammation; and Antibiotics, including tetracy-
clines and the sulfonamides, or "Sulfa" Drugs.
• CAUTION! Do not use with Liniments, salves or
ointments that contain heat-producing ingredients,
as skin burn could result.
• CAUTION! Do not use over a pregnant uterus.
Doing so may be harmful to the fetus or patient.
• CAUTION! Do not use over or near a recent steroid
injection. Doing so may result in a photosensitive
reaction.
• CAUTION! Do not use on infants. Doing so may
result in an injury.
• CAUTION! Do not use over the thyroid gland
(neck area). Doing so may stimulate the gland.
