1. Introduction- Scope of the manual/Field of application

This instruction manual refers to the Ulm 3 line of refrigerated cabinets.
The scope of the information that follows is that of providing indications concerning:
- Use of the cabinet;
- Technical characteristics;
- Installation and assembly;
- Information for the personnel in charge of its use;
- Maintenance operations.
This manual should be considered part of the cabinet and must be kept for the entire life of the
cabinet itself.
The manufacturer holds itself exempt from all responsibility under the following
circumstances:
- Improper use of the cabinet;
- Incorrect installation, not carried out according to the norms indicated;
- Defects in the electric supply;
- Serious lacks in required maintenance;
- Unauthorised changes and operations;
- Use of non-original spare parts;
- Partial or total non-observance of instructions given.
Note: Electrical appliances can be dangerous to your health.
The norms and laws in force must be respected during installation and use.
Anybody using this cabinet must read this manual.

2. Presentation - Foreseen use (Fig. 1)

The Ulm 3 line of refrigerated cabinets consists of vertical display cases with front opening, designed
for cooling by means of a remote condenser unit, suitable for the storage and self-service sale of
Pork products, Dairy products, Fruit and Vegetables and - only as regards model H207 - Meat.
The double curtain version (with double air flow Fig. 5 Rif. 13) ensures better stability of the internal
temperature, with lower energy consumption at the same refrigerating power.

3. Norms and Certifications

The reference norms according to which the cabinet has been tested and approved are:
EN-ISO 23953 - 1/2; EN 60335-2-89; EN 61000-3-2; EN 61000-3-3; EN 55014.
ENVIRONMENTAL CLIMATIC CLASSES
These cabinets were tested for climatic class 3 (25°C; R.H. 60%):
The cabinet complies with the essential requisites indicated in the following directives:
- Machine Directive 98/37 EEC;
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336 EEC and subsequent amendments 92/31 EEC,
93/68 EEC;
- Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EEC and subsequent amendment 93/68 EEC.
The field of directive 97/23 EEC (PED) does not apply according to the terms of Art. 3 paragraph 3.
