The 2 rods are of different lengths. Firstly, place the longest one inside the bag and align
it to the bottom of the bag. Keep the rod level and pull it downward until it is jammed, then
give it a little tug to ensure it is secured in position.
Similarly, insert the shorter rod and keep it level, then pull it downward until it is jammed
and secured, as shown in the diagram below.
Note: make sure the 2 rods are firmly secured inside the filter bag before immersing the
vacuum into the pool to prevent them from dropping and jamming the impeller during
operation.
Attach the silt filter bag on its narrow side and facing the front to the top opening of the
main body of the vacuum. Ensure the filter bag is wrapped entirely over the flange of the
top opening and the cord fastener is not obstructing the movement of the handle (see
below diagram).
Refer to previous instructions of assembling the regular filter to secure the 2 cord fasteners
on the bag. Fasten one end of the cord fastener before the other. Finally, lift up the bag to
ensure the silt bag is totally secured before deploying the pool vacuum into water.
Note: the finer the filtration bag, the faster it will get clogged. Debris will be returned to the
pool due to high counter-pressure caused by the clogged bag. If the pool vacuum does
not pick up or starts leaking captured debris, clean the filter bag inside and out. Refer to
the section "EMPTYING THE FILTER BAG" to clean the bag.

Align and insert all brushes into the notches at the underside of the pool vacuum.
