The recommended temperature adjustment is 48°C, which provides hot water for
all the household needs with the maximum flow.
•
We recommend not exceeding the maximum temperature to avoid burns,
especially in children and elderly persons. Also, high temperatures produce more
lime deposits in water heating appliances; in these cases, we recommend installing
a temperature mixing valve to avoid serious burns.
VIII.- MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
We recommend preventive maintenance once a year by way of the Calorex Service
Center.
W ARNING
Do not attempt to repair the water heater yourself. Call the Calorex Service for a
technician to visit you. Disconnect the electric current from the heater before carrying
out any maintenance tasks or draining the heater.
Doing so can cause property damages, serious injury, or even death.
Most of the maintenance tasks require emptying the water from the heater. To perform
this task, disconnect the electric current and remove the front cover.
