The control panel shows the state of the contacts of the
terminal board "M" and of the programming wheel: if the upper
vertical segment is on, the contact is closed; if the lower
vertical segment is on, the contact is open (the picture shows
the case of the inputs INCOMING STARTING UP , INCOMING
PRESENCE, OUTGOING STARTING UP , OUTGOING PRESENCE,
ALARM properly connected and the sensors of presence have a
N.C. output)
The dots among the ciphers show the state of the programming
wheel: when the wheel is pushed downwards the dot on the left
is on (DOWN), when the wheel is pushed upwards the dot on
the right is on (UP), when the wheel is pressed the central dot
is on (MENU).
The arrows on the left of the display show the active way. When
the incoming phase is started up the upper arrow is on, when
the outgoing phase is started up the lower arrow is on.
The arrows on the right of the display show the state of the
gate:
WARNING:
The indication of the state of the gate is possible only with V2
control units equipped with output for Warning Light
• The upper arrow is on when the gate is opening
• The central arrow shows that the gate is at rest
• The lower arrow lights up when the gate is closing
USE OF THE PROGRAMMING WHEEL
The programming of the functions and time of the central is
made by means of a specific configuration menu accessible by
means of the programming wheel and in which it is possible to
move around thanks to the same programming wheel.
WARNING:
Outside the configuration menu, pushing the wheel downwards
the incoming starting up phase is set off, while pushing
upwards an outgoing starting up phase is set off.
To put into operation the programming mode while the control
panel is displayed, press and keep pressed the wheel until
written dEF.
The configuration menu consists in a list of configurable items;
the display shows the selected item; pushing the wheel
downwards the following item is selected, pushing the wheel
upwards the previous item is selected. Pressing the wheel the
current value of the selected item is displayed and it is
possible to change it, if necessary.
The last item of the menu (FinE) allows the storage of the
changes made and to revert to the normal working of the
control unit. In order not to loose the own configuration it is
compulsory exiting through this menu item.
WARNING:
If no operations are required for more then a minute, the
control unit exits from the programming mode without saving
the given information and changes will be lost.
Keeping the wheel pushed downwards the configuration menu
items are quickly scrolled down until displayed the item FinE.
Likewise, keeping the wheel pushed upwards the items are
quickly scrolled down backwards until reached the item dEF.
Like this, the beginning or the end of the list can be reached
quickly.
The menus are three:
• Function menu
• Time menu
• Value menu
Setting the function menu:
The function menus allow to choose a function in a group of
possible options. Entering a menu, it is displayed the active
function; pushing the programming wheel upwards or
downwards it is possible to scroll down the available options.
The displayed option is started up pressing the wheel; after
this, back to the configuration menu.
Setting the time menu:
The time menus allow to set the length of a function. Entering a
menu, the active function is displayed (format ss.d"). Pushing
the wheel upwards the value increases, pushing it downwards it
decreases. In some menus the value to be set is limited to
19.9": the variation here is a tenth of second; in other menus
the value is limited to 99.5": the variation here is a half
second.
Keeping the wheel upwards the time increases quickly, until
reached its maximum. Likewise, keeping the wheel downwards
the time decreases quickly, until reached 0.0".
In some cases, the 0 value means disabling the function: in
this case, instead of 0.0" it is displayed "no" Pressing the
wheel the displayed value is confirmed; after this, back to the
configuration menu.
Setting value menu
The value menus are like the time ones, but the given value is
any number.
CONFIGURATION OF THE CONTROL UNIT:
This paragraph shows step by step the configuration procedure
of all the function criteria of the control unit City5.
It is possible to wholly configure the control unit, following all
the steps of the procedure, or select the interested items. In
both the cases, in order to make the configuration work it is
necessary to follow the correct exit procedure by means of the
item FinE.
