3. LEARN FUNCTION OPERATION GUIDE
The learn function on the URC-605/610 remote control allows to program the keys one
by one to learn to behave like the original remote control of your device.
As an example, below is a method of programming a STB using the learn function.
Just follow the steps:
1. Turn on your STB you want to program
to work with the Crypto URC-605/610
remote control.
2.Press STB button once
3. Press the learn
3 seconds until the STB
LED lights continuously.
4. Bring the original remote opposite to
the URC-605/610 and at a distance of 3
to 5 cm in such way so that the infrared
windows are facing one another and
press the button that you want.
5. The STB
blinking on your URC-602.
6. Now press the button on URC-605/610
that you want to program. The STB
button LED will stop blinking and that
means that the selected button on URC-
605/610 is programmed.
7. Repeat for the other buttons you want
to program.
STB button will turn off.
Note:
If no key is pressed within 20 seconds the LED light indication will blink twice and

turn off.
During the learn process all buttons can be programmed except from [LEARN],
•
[MACRO] [ALL OFF], and device mode keys.
