4 Transport and Storage
Transport within the plant:
Note!

Only transport the device horizontally when filled with oil!
When tipping the device by more than 10°, oil can get on to the
exhaust filter element - build-up of smoke and damage to the
vacuum pump is possible. When this occurs, immediately replace
the exhaust filter element (see chapter "Maintenance and Fault
Repair").

Secure the sealing pad and insertion plates in the vacuum chamber to prevent
slipping (transport lock) or remove the insertion plates.

Subsequently remove the transport locks upon completion of transportation.

Do not kink the mains power cable where it leaves the housing.

The machine PlusVac 21 is fitted with transport rollers and can be pushed to its
operating site. Then, lock the two front transport rollers so that the machine is in
a secure position.
Storage:
Ambient conditions in the storage room as for operating the machine
(see chapter "Technical Data").

Keep water and water vapour away from the machine.

The vacuum pump must be packaged prior to any lengthy period of storage.
