Fault
Spindle or spindle nut moves
with difficulty.
Clamping force is not built up. Minimum chuck capacity

Remedy
Dismantle, clean and oil the
NC4.
Use different jaws.
Clamp workpiece centrally.
for smooth running, remove
corrosion if necessary.
In the event of a worn coup-
ling mechanism, contact ALL-
MATIC Service.
Contact ALLMATIC Service.
Lock spindle into position
again by turning counter-clock-
wise.
Install new rubber scrapers.
Use screws of suitable length.
Unscrew pressure plate from
lower section.
