GB Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT, PLEASE KEEP FOR LATER REFERENCE: READ CAREFUL-
LY. This is important information on the use of this piece of garden
furniture. Keep these instructions for your information or for orde-
ring spare parts.
Caring instructions
The product is 100% recyclable.
In most cases it can be cleaned using a sponge and clean water only. To
remove especially stubborn stains, use lukewarm water, soap and a soft
brush. Never use abrasives, acetone (nail-varnish remover) or cleaning
agents based on chlorine.
You can use our cleaning and care product, specially developed for KETT-
LER leisure furniture, for regular cleaning and maintenance (see ordering of
replacement parts). It is available from authorised retailers. Please take note
of the cleaning instructions.
The high-quality garden furniture you have purchased consists of teak
grown in the tropics. It has outstanding properties of weather resistance.
The presence of natural substances in the wood may lead to inconsistencies
in colour, dark streaks or spots. These diminish in the course of time and do
not constitute grounds for complaint.
In the course of time, all types of wood may develop discolorations and
small cracks. This is a natural process and does not impair the function or
safety of the furniture in any way. It does not constitute grounds for com-
plaint.
If not maintained and cared for, the furniture obtains a natural grey patina
over the course of time. If you want to prevent this, the wood must be clea-
ned and cared for. You can find the right cleaning product for your garden
furniture in our spare parts ordering section. Please follow the respective
cleaning instructions.
However, even greyish furniture retains its full strength. To avoid mildew or
the formation of mould, store your furniture in a cool dry place in winter –
not in heated rooms.
Clean soiled areas of the fabric or lining thoroughly with a soft brush or
with a sponge and warm water or light soap (a lot of water and little deter-
gent). Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
Only use soft brushes, cloths or sponges that do not contain ground par-
ticles (see manufacturer description of individual items). Do not use steel
wool or steel brushes!
