1. INITIAL SETUP
If you are using the programmer for the first time, install
the rechargeable batteries, making sure that they are in the
correct position. Charge the batteries fully before use.
The programmer includes rechargeable batteries. These
should be charged using the charger which comes with
the device.

While charging is taking place, the icon of a battery being
charged will appear on the screen and the LED located next
to the power supply connector will remain lit up. When the
batteries are completely charged, the LED will blink and the
charge completed icon will appear on the screen.

If you do not have an Internet connection, please contact our technical personnel or request the update files from
ALCAD.
Safety Instructions
Do not place the power supply where water can drip or splash onto it. Do not place objects containing liquid, such as glasses, on the equipment. Do not place
sources of naked flame, such as burning candles, on the equipment. When installing the equipment, leave some free space around it to provide adequate
ventilation. Install the equipment in such a way that the mains supply plug of the equipment can be easily reached.

UPDATING THE PS-011 PROGRAMMER
Note: If the batteries of the programmer become completely flat and you do
not have access to a 230V power outlet, you have the possibility of using AA
alkaline batteries. It must be borne in mind, however, that with this type of
battery autonomy may be considerably reduced.
2. TURNING ON AND OFF

3. SELECTING THE LANGUAGE
When the programmer is turned on for the first time, you
will notice that the menus appear in English. If you wish
to change the language: on the Main Menu screen, select
PS Programmer Setup, and then Select Language. When
you have done this, choose one of the three preloaded
languages – English, Française or Español – confirming
your choice by pressing the OK key. Then press ESC to
exit from the menu. To add other languages, please see the

4. SELECTING THE SERIES
In the Main Menu, choose Select Series. Then select one
of the preloaded series. For further information on how to
add series to the directory of your programmer, please see
the full manual, available on our website.
5. COMMUNICATING WITH THE EQUIPMENT
The programmer communicates with the equipment by
means of infrared rays. No cables are required to connect
the programmer to the equipment. However, to ensure that
the programmer and the equipment communicate properly,
there must not be any objects between them blocking
communication.
