All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
Dash Disassembly 99-8220 Toyota Tundra 2007-up (console shift) Toyota Sequoia 2008-up (console shift) 1. Unclip and remove the top trim panel around cup holders. (Figure A) 2. Remove (1) Phillips screw from shifter trim panel and remove panel. (Figure B) 3.

Dash Disassembly 99-8220 Toyota Tundra 2007-up (console shift) Toyota Sequoia 2008-up (console shift) 4. Remove (4) 10 mm bolts securing the radio. (Figure D) 5. Unclip the right side of the instrument panel trim and pull back the trim,then unclip,unplug and remove radio.

Remove (2) plastic Phillips screws one from each side of the trim panel below the cup holder then unclip and remove the panel. (Figure A) 2. Pull the cup holder out and depress the (2) clips on each side to slide cup holder out of cup holder panel.
3. Snap the pocket into the radio housing. (Figure C) 4. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or (Figure A) AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
(Figure D) 5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the (Figure B) dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly.
