TROUBLESHOOTING:

Symptom
Saw will not start
Saw produces poor cuts
Saw produces an
unusual sound
Excessive Sparking occurs
Inside motor housing

Possible Cause
No supply of power
Brushes are worn or sticking
Switch is faulty
Cord Damage
Motor Components Open
Or short circuited.
Overload Switch is Activated
Dull, Damaged blade or
incorrect blade for the
application.
Motor is overloaded
Mechanical Obstruction
Armature has shorted out
Blade is out of balance
Brushes are not moving
freely.
Armature short circuited or
open circuit, or commutator
is dirty
Corrective Action
Check that saw is plugged in
And that there is power to source.
Disconnect power, open brush caps
and ensure brushes move freely in
the holders. Check whether
brushes require replacing.
