Conduct a first-aid procedure adequate to the injury
and summon qualified medical attendance as quickly
as possible. Protect the injured person from further
harm and calm them down.If you seek help, state the

Safety Instructions
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failu-
re to follow the warnings and instructions may result
in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all
warnings and instructions for future reference.
Keep children and other persons including animals in
a safe distance when using the appliance. Minimum
safe distance is 5 m.
Being careful prevents slipping or falling, especially
when reversing.
Check the ground on which the appliance is going to
be used and remove any items that might be caught or
thrown off by the appliance.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Wear suitable protective clothing such as sturdy shoes
with non-slip sole, robust long trousers, gloves, safety
glasses and hearing protection!
Do not adjust the appliance when the engine is
running (except for settings directly recommended by
the manufacturer).
Snow should be removed only after adjusting the snow
blower to the outdoor temperature when there are
extreme temperature differences. Immediate snow re-
moving could lead to premature wear of the drive shaft
and other extensions such as the rubber flap.
There is a risk of items being thrown off at eyes when
working with power appliances.
Protective glasses or a shield should always be used
when operating, adjusting or repairing the appliance.
Do not put your hands and legs near the rotating
parts. Keep a safe distance from the eject hole.
Be extremely careful when running over or removing
snow off brash entrances, footpaths and paths. Be
prepared for unexpected risks or moving vehicles.
When you hit a foreign item, switch the engine off,
disconnect the cable from the spark plug and check
thoroughly the snow blower for any damage and
remove it if necessary – the snow blower can be put
into operation again and worked with now.
Ensure that the container or the snow shield is secure
when changing / lifting / emptying the machine.
Secure the attachments against rolling away.
Never use the appliance inside rooms; to be used
outdoors only.
Always work crosswise to the slope with the machine.
Max. At an angle of 30 °. Be particularly careful when
changing the direction of travel on the slope, turning
the machine or pulling it towards you.
Do not overload the appliance; do not try to remove
snow too quickly.
Never use the appliance at a high travelling speed on
a slippery surface. Be careful when reversing.
The unit may only be operated in the operating posi-
tion (flat surface) as fuel or oil may leak or lubrication
will no longer be provided.
No change can be made in respect of engine and unit
setting.
The snow blower must only be used when appropri-
ate visibility or good lighting is provided. Stand fast
on the ground and hold the handle tight by hands at
all times. Walk, never run.
Do not allow anybody to stand on the appliance.
Switch the engine off and unplug it if you are not
working with the appliance or when leaving the
appliance or adjusting, maintaining or repairing it.
The protective equipment on the appliance is
strictly prohibited to be disassembled, changed,
used in conflict with the designation and it is
prohibited to attach any protective equipment of
other manufacturers.
Do not lift or carry a machine with the engine
running.
The appliance must not be used if damaged or
safety equipment is defective. Replace any
worn-out and damaged parts.
In order to avoid unbalance, worn or damaged
parts and mounting bolts may only be exchanged
as a set.
Turn the unit immediately off in the following cases:
• When the engine is running restlessly or unstably
• Sparking
• When there is smoke or fire
• Abnormal vibrations or noise
• When the engine seems to be overloaded or is
about to fail
Do not store the appliance in enclosed places just
after being switched off but let it cool down outdoors
instead.
Keep in mind that the operator or the user is respon-
sible for accidents with other persons or damage to
their property.
