1. Plug the power supply unit 16 into a wall socket.
2. Figure C: insert the plug of the connecting cable 15 into the port in the charg-
ing station 17.
3. Place the appliance into the charging station 9. It positions itself automatically
and starts charging. The LED in the On/Off switch 1 is lit continuously. The
colour changes with the charging state from almost empty (orange) to fully
charged (green). During charging, the LED will flash every couple of seconds.
NOTE: figure B: you can also charge the appliance by plugging the plug of the
connecting cable 15 directly into the port in the appliance 11.

Cable mode
You can also use the device in cable mode, e.g. when the battery is not charged.

Before plugging in the power supply unit 16, check that the voltage of the wall
socket corresponds to the specifications on the type plate.
1. Plug the power supply unit 16 into a wall socket.
2. Figure B: to do this, insert the plug of the connecting cable 15 directly into the
port in the appliance 11.

Operation
3.1

Switching On/Off

– To switch the appliance on, briefly press the On/Off switch 1 on top of the appli-
ance. The appliance starts to operate and the LED of the On/Off switch is lit.
– To switch the appliance off, hold down the On/Off switch 1 on top of the appli-
ance for a few seconds.
NOTE for model OC20B:
The LED lighting 3 of the model OC20B can be switched on and off. Press the
On/Off switch 1 briefly during operation to switch the LED on or off.
3.2
On/Off switch - LED colours
The colours of the On/Off switch 1 indicate the charging state of the battery dur-
ing operation and charging:
Colour
Red
Yellow
Green
Charging state
The battery is almost empty.
The battery is partially charged.
The battery is full.
