SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the
product.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
Estimated Assembly Time:
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Tape measure, pencil, drill with 3/32 in. drill bit, Phillips
screwdriver, safety glasses, step ladder.
Note: Use #6 plastic anchors (not included) for drywall or plaster mounting. Use 1/4 in. drill bit for
these anchors.
Bracket Location and Installation:
The blind may be installed either inside or outside the window frame. A mounting bracket should be
positioned on each end of the headrail. Wider blinds that require 1 or more center support brackets
should be spaced evenly between the two outermost mounting brackets. Always position the
brackets so there is no interference with the cords and mechanisms inside the headrail. The
procedure outlined below will assure proper bracket placement.
WARNING
Inner cords can pull out to form a loop, which can
strangle a young child.
• Inner cord stop devices can reduce this risk if
positioned correctly on the pull cords.
• If inner cord stops devices are more than 6 inches
below the headrail when the blind is fully lowered,
move them closer by following the inner cord stop
device adjustment instructions on page 6.
