DESCRIPTION
Thank you for choosing GYS In order to get the most from this product, please read the following instructions with
care:
The EVO 2.1 fume extractor is ideal for extracting and filtering welding fumes.
The welding gas and fumes are extracted to prevent any pollution in the workspace. The extracted air that contains
gas and fumes is filtered and recycled in the work area. This device is designed to extract and purify the dry fumes
generated by spot, MMA, or MIG welding. These dry fumes generate polluting substances that contain gas or welding
slag residues
The machine also purifies the work environment, the extractor renews the air inside the work area, reducing the
ambient air pollution.
To comply with regulations and filtration quality to the operator's safety, it is important to maintain and replace the filters
in accordance with the recommendations (see. page 4-5 filter replacement)

POWER SUPPLY

The EVO 2.1 fume extractor is supplied with a 6m mains cable (3x4 mm²). It must be connected to a single phase
230V power supply WITH earth.
The absorbed effective current (I1eff) is displayed on the machine, for optimal use.
Check that the power supply and its protection (fuse and/or circuit breaker) are compatible with the current needed
by the machine. In some countries, it may be necessary to change the plug to allow the use at maximum settings.
The user has to make sure that the plug can be reached.

MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS

The trolley features a 230V socket to connect a welding machine. The fume extractor works jointly with the welding
machine. Its deferred operating mode optimises the use of the machine.
With its manoeuvrability and ergonomics, it is usable in many work environments thanks to its flexible arm that can be
extended up to 3 metres.
The EVO 2.1 fume extractor features an IP65 control panel :
- On-off switch ;
- Mode automatic or manual ;
- Machine ON indicator (green led) ;
