devices, short wave devices, high-frequency surgical equip-
ment or in airplanes.
• We also warn specifically of the following dangers:
- Simultaneously connecting the patient to a high-frequency
surgical device can result in burns under the stimulation cur-
rent electrodes.
- Using the unit near (e.g. 1 m) a short wave or microwave
therapy device can cause fluctuations in the output of the
stimulation current.
• Should treatment with the
cause discomfort, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

RECAUTIONARY EASURES
• Make sure you do not use the unit if it or the cables are dama-
ged or faulty. If a fault occurs, please send in the unit or ca-
bles via your specialist dealer to:

• Long-term use can in isolated cases lead to skin irritation in
the area where the electrodes were placed.
• The effectiveness of the treatment depends greatly upon the
patient being treated by someone who is qualified in dealing
with patients suffering from pain.
