9. What if there are problems?
Problem
The table fan cannot be
switched on.
Insufficient passage of air.
Table fan smells unpleasant.
The table fan is very loud.
10. Disposal
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device with your household waste at the
end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point
in your country. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local
authorities responsible for waste disposal.
Possible cause
Table fan is not plugged in.
The table fan is faulty.
The evaporation filter is dirty.
The ventilation grille blocks
the air flow.
The ventilation fan is new.
The water in the PET bottle
is stale.
The evaporation filter has
been damp for too long.
The table fan is standing
on an unstable and uneven
surface.

Solution
Connect the table fan to
a suitable wall socket or
computer.

Clean or replace the
evaporation filter (see
"Cleaning and maintenance"
chapter).
Open the ventilation grille to
allow air to flow through.
Unplug the table fan. Then
empty the water basin and
allow it to air for 12 hours.
Replace the water in the PET
bottle.
Allow table fan to run without
PET bottle, so that the
table fan can dry out the
evaporation filter.
Remove the evaporation
filter (see "Replacing the
evaporation filter" chapter)
and allow it to air dry.
Place the table fan on a
stable and level surface.
