4 APPLICATIONS.
The Kit allows the connection between the 163 Plasma Prof Power Source, art. 957 with a CNC
Pantograph, in automated Plasma Cutting Systems.
5 INSTALLATION.
The following indications make reference to the "Installation pictures" collected in the appropriate
paragraph at the end of the present manual.
For eventual more information consult the Power Source Instruction Manual.

5.1 Installation procedure.
 Make sure the Power Source power cord is disconnected from the supply line.

Remove the Power Source upper panel.
 Remove the cover (A) of fig. 11.1.

 Install the Analog Interface Kit, art.108, setting Remote board 3 and the connection 1 of fig.3
respectively on the supports of the inside baffle of the Power Source and the hole left free by the
cover (A) of fig.11.1.

Connect the wiring 1 cable of fig. 3 to the Power Source earth point (B), as indicated in fig. 11.1.
 Insert multipoles connections (C), (D), (E), (F), (G) in the Power Source respectively in the
connectors J5, J3, J6, J1 and J4 of the Remote board 3 (figs. 3, 11.2, 11.3).
NOTE: for connections (C) and (G) first remove the protective connectors.
6 COMPATIBILITY.
The Analog Interface Kit, art. 108.00 is supported from following Power Sources:
 art. 957.00 (Plasma), with Firmware version 01 and successive;
7 CONNECTIONS.
The signals present on the 14 poles female connector, installed on the Power Source, are illustrated in the
diagram of fig. 11.4. The 14 poles male flying connector, for the Pantograph connection, must be wired
following such diagram.
Detailed description of the Power Source – Pantograph connections signals is supplied. in the following
paragraphs.

only by qualified personel.
All electrical connections must be carry out in full compliance with current safety
laws.
