DESCRIPTION
The IRIN4B independent radio receiver is designed to receive
and decode the radio transmitter signals used in motorised
door and gate facilities. This receiver can work at 433.92 MHz
(IRIN4B-250) or 868.35 MHz (IRIN4B-250/868) and can be
used with Trinary Fixed Code or Roller Code transmitters (in
accordance with the position of J1).
Moreover, it can decode LEMG / LEMEJ magnetic key reader
codes.
Install and use this transmitter only as described in
these instructions, and do not modify or handle in
any way unless indicated in these instructions.
Inappropriate use may lead to failures and
hazardous situations.
Discard
the
packaging
environmentally-friendly manner.
CHARACTERISTICS
• Power supply: 230V AC/50Hz or 12-24V AC/DC
• Trinary Fixed Code or Roller Code, selectable using J1
• Operating
frequency:
868.35MHz (IRIN4B-250/868)
• Cable connectors for magnetic key reader (LEMG / LEMEJ)
• Four relay outputs (NO and NC), voltage-free (RL1, RL2,
RL3, RL4). NO Contact: max 5A, 250V AC / 30V DC; NC
contact: max 3A, 250V AC / 30V DC.
• RL1, RL2, RL3 and RL4 outputs configurable as
monostable, timed or bistable by way of PRL1, PRL2, PRL3
and PRL4.

INSTALLING AND PROGRAMMING
INSTALLATION
1 Secure the box properly with the screws and plugs
supplied.
2 Ensure the location of the receiver is suitable for correct
reception:
To improve reception, install the receiver high up and far
from large metallic parts.
Install it at a distance of at least 4 metres from other
receivers.
Before definitively securing the receiver, we recommend
carrying out a reception test (press the transmitter
button: if the signal is received, L2 flashes).
3 Make the electrical connections (see Figure 1).
O Connecting two key readers: a maximum of two key
readers can be connected. Connect cable connector C
in the first reader only.
4 If the antenna supplied is not in a favourable position or
the radio signal is weak, reception can be improved by
connecting an exterior KRAET antenna. The exterior
antenna should be installed as high up as possible, above
any metal structure or reinforced concrete which may be
present in the area. Use coaxial cable with impedance of
50 ohm (for example low-loss RG58). Use the shortest
cable possible (no longer than 10m) in order to reduce
signal dispersion.
5 Connect the electrical power supply. L1 lights up.
PRL1 - PRL2 - PRL3 - PRL4 CONFIGURATION
The required operating mode can be associated to each relay
(RL1 - RL2 - RL3 - RL4): monostable, timed or bistable mode.
This is done by setting PRL1 - PRL2 - PRL3 - PRL4, respectively,
in the required position:
• Left position: monostable mode
safely
and
in
433.92MHz
(IRIN4B-250)
• Removable 250 code MEMO memory (MEMO250),
compatible with 500 memories (MEMO500) and 1000
(MEMO1000) codes
• Cable connectors for antenna

CONTENT
• Receiver with box
• Roller Code memory (MEMO) for 250 codes
• Model IRIN4B-250: RSD module for 433.92 MHz and long
ANT1 antenna, black (433.92 MHz)
• Model IRIN4B-250/868: RSD module for 868.35 MHz and
short ANT1 antenna, white (868.35 MHz)

O IMPORTANT (J1): SELECTION OF TRINARY FIXED
CODE OR ROLLER CODE
Using J1, select the type of transmitters to be used:
• POS1 (bridge closed) = Trinary Fixed Code
• POS2 (bridge open) = Roller Code
PROGRAMMING TRINARY FIXED CODE TRANSMITTERS,
J1=POS1 (BRIDGE CLOSED)
1 Select operation mode using D2 and D3 (see table 1).
2 Connect the electrical power supply.
Programming Trinary Fixed Code transmitters in RL1
1 Select the required code in the transmitter to be
programmed.
2 Place D1 in ON (L2 flashes);
3 Press the button on the transmitter to be programmed
until L2 lights up statically (the receiver beeps twice,
indicating that programming is complete);
4 Place D1 in OFF (L2 goes off).
Programming Trinary Fixed Code transmitters in RL2,
RL3 and/or RL4
1 Select the required code in the transmitter to be
programmed.
2 Keep the P2, P3 or P4 programming button pressed down
for at least 2 seconds (until L2 begins to flash);
3 Press the button on the transmitter to be programmed
until L2 lights up statically (the receiver beeps twice,
indicating that programming is complete); L2 goes off
after 4 seconds.
