Using the TV

Setting the time zone

When you set the time zone, your TV combo adjusts the time signal from a broadcast out of
your area so the clock displays your local time.
To set the time zone:
1 Press the MENU button. The TV on-screen display (OSD) opens.
2 Press the VOL+ or VOL– button to select DTV SETUP, then press the CH– button. The
DTV SETUP menu opens.

3 Press the CH+ or CH– button to select TIME ZONE, then press the VOL+ or VOL– to
select your viewing area time zone. You can select NEWFOUNDLAND, ATLANTIC,
EASTERN, CENTRAL, MOUNTAIN, PACIFIC, ALASKA, HAWAII, or SAMOA.

Setting the sleep timer

To set the sleep timer:
1 Press the SLEEP button one or more times to select the amount of time you want your
TV combo to wait before it automatically turns off. You can select 5 minutes, 10
minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes,
180 minutes, or 240 minutes.
2 To turn off the sleep timer, press the SLEEP button one or more times until OFF
appears on the screen.
