OUNTING THE "INDUSTRIAL"
After having cemented the base in the required position, as shown in Pic.
2, fix the mod. INDUSTRIAL barrier in place by means of the supplied
bolts, using a N° 27 setscrew wrench.
Now mount the boom arm. This must be carried out in four phases.
1 - Having removed the casing, insert the boom arm coupling links into
the drive shaft and set them in a horizontal position using the relative
wrench.
2 - Assemble the two halves of the rod using the supplied nuts and bolts
and a N° 8 setscrew wrench (Pic. 3).
3 - Insert the boom arm into the boom arm coupling links (Pic. 4).
4 - Definitively fix the boom arm by tightening the four nuts on to the
supplied bolts with a N° 17 setscrew wrench. Now apply the boom
arm and plug.
The electric actuator is the irreversible type and needs no external locking
system to maintain an efficient closing position.

LECTRICAL SAFETY DEVICES
The INDUSTRIAL limit switches and motor are already connected up to
the electronic control panel.
Only the wiring of a push-button panel, the flashing light and, naturally,
the supply voltage have to be connected up.
People and objects must be protected from crushing as a result of an
inadvertent command, so at least a pair of photoelectric cells or a sensor
positioned below the barrier boom is obligatory.
B
OOM ARM BALANCING
When ordering the mod. INDUSTRIAL barrier, always specify the boom
arm length in order to obtain the correct number of counterweights.
L
IMIT SWITCH SETTING
Normally the barrier is supplied to you with the limit switches already set
to allow optimum barrier movement.
If the base plate has not been cemented in on a level plane, the boom
might be not perfectly horizontal or vertical, with the result that the
aesthetic appearance of the installation is poor.
To prevent this, the mechanical travel of the boom arm can be modified
by means of the limit switches, using two N° 9 wrenches.
Now adjust the electric limit switches by means of pawls "A" (Pic. 5)
mounted on the disk, using a N° 10 setscrew wrench to slacken the bolts
that lock them on the same.
