- Opening of the equipment by using tools (screw drivers, etc.).
- Carrying out modification or conversion of the product.
- Use of accessories from other manufacturers.
- Inappropriate or irresponsible behaviour on scaffolding, when
using ladders, when measuring near machines that are mo-
ving or close to unprotected machine parts or installations.
- Aim the beam towards the sun: the device can be damaged.
- Deliberately dazzling of third parties; even in the dark.
- Inadequate safeguards at the surveying site (e.g. when mea-
suring on roads, construction sites, etc.)

Pay attention to incorrect distance measurements if the in-
strument is faulty or it has been dropped or it has been used
improperly or it has been modified.

the instrument has been subject to abnormal use and befo-
re, during and after important measurements. Make sure the
optic is kept clean and that there is no damage to the device.
CAUTION:
When using the tool to measure distance or to place moving
objects (e.g. cranes, construction equipment, platforms,
etc.), unforeseen events can cause erroneous measure-
ments.
PRECAUTIONS
Use this product only as a measurement sensor, not as a
control device. Your procedure must be configured and ma-
naged in such a way that, in the event of incorrect measu-
rement, device malfunction or power failure due to safety
measures installed (e.g. safety switch), it is guaranteed that
no damage will occur.
