- Use a target plate to increase the measurement range during
daylight or if the target has poor reflection properties.
NB: The measuring range of the device is influenced by
the environmental conditions in which the measurements
are made. Backlighting, with strong light or fog, the range
normally reduces; while it increases in conditions of lower
environmental brightness or lower humidity.
- Measurement accuracy could reach ±3mm in good conditions
(good measurement surface, correct room temperature). If un-
der adverse measuring conditions, such as the light is too strong,
the temperature difference is too large, or the measured surfa-
ce reflective strongly, accuracy may be influenced negatively.

7.Measuring conditions

Measuring range
The maximum measurement range of the device is 30m, diffe-
rent for different target. At night or dusk and if the target is in
shadow, the measuring range without target plate is increased.
Use a target plate to increase the measurement range during
daylight or if the target has poor reflection properties.
Target surfaces
Measuring errors can occur when measuring toward colourless
liquids (e.g. water) or dust free glass, Styrofoam or similar semi-
permeable surfaces. Aiming at high gloss surfaces may deflect
the laser beam and lead to measurement errors. Against non-
reflective and dark surfaces the measuring time may increase.
- If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the ma-
nufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be
impaired.
- This equipment does not contain any parts that can be repaired
by the operator.
- This manual must be consulted in all cases where symbol is
marked.
Care
Do not immerse the instrument in water. Wipe off dirt with a
damp, soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or so-
lutions. Handle the instrument as you would do with a telescope
or camera.
Warranty
The instrument is supplied with a one-year warranty limited to
the instrument. The warranty does not cover the consequences
of an incorrect measurement, even if due to the instrument [refer
to the paragraph indicated with (**)]. The warranty is only effecti-
ve if the operating instructions for correct operation, processing,
cleaning and maintenance of the device are followed, and if the
instrument is kept in good technical condition. The warranty does
