7) MALFUNCTIONS

 No chlorine is being produced in the pool:
Check to make sure that:
 The unit is connected;
 The fuse is not damaged or blown;
 The ON/OFF switch is in position I;
 The chlorine control is not set too low;
 The cell is clean;
 The pump motor is working;
 The safety wire is connected and not damaged;
 Indicators LED 1 and LED 2 are both showing green. If either or both are red, see
Section 5 "OPERATION" above.
 During the season, the "WINTER MODE" selector should be in the OFF position.
 There is insufficient chlorine:
Check to make sure that:
 The cell is clean;
 The filter is clean;
 You have the right amount of stabiliser;
 The pH value is correct (around 7.2);
 The salt content is right:
- Pro-MATIC - ESC models – minimum 3 g/ litre;
- Eco-MATIC - ESR models - minimum 4 g / litre;
 The chlorine control setting is right: turn the knob clockwise to increase
production.
 During the season, the "WINTER MODE" button should be in the OFF position.
