Why shall I have to choose a rolling code transmitter instead of a fi x one?
The rolling code transmitters are safer as they can't be cloned and have 200 million
combinations. They change for every transmission. On the contrary, the fi x code tran-
smitters have 1024 code combinations. They don't change for every transmission.
Does Energy loose the memory in case of black-out?
No. Set parameters on the receiver are saved on a non-volatile EEPRON memory.
However, the memory is removable so it is possible to restore all saved data if you
decide to replace the receiver.
Is it possible to use rolling code transmitters on one channel and fi x code transmitters
on the other one?
No. For safety, Stagnoli decides to avoid a contemporaneous use of both rolling codes
and fi x codes. The receiver can work with only one type of code. The type is establi-
shed according to the receiver code which has been registered fi rst.
What does it mean bistable functioning?
As bistable functioning we mean the behaviour of the relay which commutes its con-
tact position as soon as it is energized. If you wish the relay to change back to initial
position, it needs to receive a new valid signal.
If in the power saving mode, Energy commands a control board already equipped
with a reciever, is it possible to use the transmitters saved before?
Yes, if the transmitters are compatible with the Energy receiver. If it is so, the fi rst impul-
se will power the system and the second will give the command directly to the control
board reciever.
N.B: In this confi guration, do not link the control board input (START, OPEN...) to
Energy.
