Cut pipe and clean ends of pipe.
Ensure there are no burrs, sharp
edges or deep scratches.
Cut should be as straight as possible.

Insert pipe into filter head fitting. Ensure pipe is firmly seated to backstop.
Connect pipe from water supply to "IN" port. (See Figure 4)

Repeat Step 7 for the pipe leading
from the "OUT" port to the house.
To connect pipes, it may be necessary
to carefully spread pipe apart.
Keep filter head horizontal.

Use wrench supplied to turn filter head valve to "FILTER" mode and slowly turn
on main water supply. Check for leaks. Allow water to run five (5) minutes to
flush. (See Figure 5)

Hand-tighten filter housing until
snug. If necessary, tighten further
with wrench to seal properly.
DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
