Knock Sensor Heat Shield
The production system uses a heat shield to protect the driver's side knock sensor. That is due to the close proximity of the
exhaust manifold to the knock sensor. If required for your application, the parts are listed in (Figure 8).

Evaporative Emissions Valve
The evaporative emissions system can be used with the Chevrolet Performance engine control kit, but is not required for
proper engine operation. This port must be either plugged or connected to a vapor canister. (Figure 9).

Vacuum port
There is a vacuum port than can be used for vacuum assisted brakes. It needs to be connected to the brake booster or
capped, see figure 10.
