In addition, the supply cycles through the codes "8", "0", and "1" during the power-
up sequence. "8" is displayed when power is fi rst applied to allow verifi cation that all
segments of the display are working properly. "0" is next displayed to indicate that the
supply has begun charging the output capacitors. This takes approximately 5 seconds. "1"
is next displayed to indicate that the capacitors were successfully charged. Unless a fault
occurs, the "1" code remains displayed while AC power is applied.

The Toolroom Mill is leveled in the same manner as a VF-Series machine. See the
Reference Manual for details.
NOTE: Before any axis movement takes place, remove the shipping
bracket from the spindle and table, and remove any wooden
crating from the top of the spindle head. Severe damage will
occur if machine operation is attempted with the shipping
bracket in place.

1. Fasten the pan extensions to the mill using 1/4-20 x 3/4 BHCS. Note that the pan
extension fl ange goes on the inside of the existing panel.
2. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.
