01. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
• Read these instructions in full before using your
device.
• This manual is an integral part of the product.
Keep it in a safe place for future consultation.
• This device is solely for domestic, non-indus-
trial use. Any use other than that indicated may
be dangerous.
• To prevent potential severe personal harm, as
well as damage to the blender, keep hands, hair
and utensils away from the blades and the mixer
recipient. A spatula may be used, but only when
the device is not operating. Avoid touching mov-
ing parts.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) of reduced physical, sensory
or mental capacities, or lacking experience or
knowledge, except if they have had supervision
or instructions on the use of the device from a
person responsible for their safety.
• Do not make any modification or repair to the
device. If there is any anomaly in the cable or
other part of the device, do not use it and go to
an authorised assistance service.
• Do not use parts or accessories not supplied or
recommended by ELMA.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Before plugging the device into the electrical
network, check that the indicated voltage match-
es that of your home.
• Always unplug the device after use and before
disassembling or attaching parts and carrying
out any maintenance or cleaning task. Also un-
plug in case of power outage. When plugging
in or unplugging the device, it must be discon-
nected.
• Do not hang the device by the cable. Always
unplug the device by pulling the plug, never the
cable.
• Avoid the power cable coming into contact
with sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not leave
the cable hanging over the edge of the table our
countertop, to prevent children from pulling on it
and the device falling.
Never submerge the device in water or
other liquid or put it in the dishwasher.
• Do not leave the device plugged into the net-
work unsupervised.

• Always keep air inlets and outlets clear.
• Do not install the device in places with risk of
explosion.
• Check that the device is in good conditions,
paying special attention to moving parts. In case
of detecting any anomaly, contact the distributor
where the product was acquired.
• Before connecting the device to the electrical
network, check that the voltage indicated on the
device corresponds with the voltage of the local
electrical network.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is
operating.
• The device has very sharp blades. Take ex-
treme care.
• When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids,
use a tall recipient or make small quantities at
one time to reduce the danger of splashing and
the possibility of personal harm.
• The device is not intended for operating using
an external timer or remote control system.
• The manufacturer and seller are considered
responsible in terms of safety, reliability and per-
formance only if:
A- The device is used following the instruc-
tions for use.
B- The electrical installation of the place of
use for the device complies with current
laws.
CAUTION!: When you want to dispose of the
appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin.
Take it to the WASTE FACILITY or waste collec-
tion centre closest to your home for processing.
You will thereby be helping to take care of the
environment.
