Alarm and fault display windows
The seven-segment ACS100-PAN display highlights alarms and faults using the "ALxx" or "FLxx" codes, where
xx is the corresponding alarm or fault code. The alphanumeric display on the ACS-PAN control panel shows the
alarm and fault codes together with a brief message.
Alarms 1-7 are activated via use of the keys. The green light flashes for codes that are evenly numbered or
higher than 10. Faults are indicated by the red warning light. The alarm and fault messages disappear if the
MENU, ENTER or arrow keys on the control panel are pressed. If the keyboard is not touched and the alarm or
fault persists, the message reappears after a few seconds. The last three fault codes are saved in parameters
0128 - 0130. The user can cancel the faults from the control panel memory by pressing the UP and DOWN
keys simultaneously in parameter setting mode.
Faults reset
The presence of a fault is indicated by a flashing red warning light and can be reset by switching the unit off for
a few moments. The other faults (indicated by a red warning light) can be reset from the control panel via the
digital input or the serial communication channel, or by cutting the power supply for a few moments. Once the
fault has been eliminated the motor can be restarted. Warning! All the installation and maintenance work
regarding electrical parts that is described in this chapter must ONLY be carried out by qualified electricians.
Strict observance of the safety regulations given on the first few pages of the user manual is therefore necessary.
If you are unable to resolve the fault please contact ABB.
