Antunes Vertical Contact Toaster: Model VCT-200
During these checks, hot toasting surfaces will be exposed.
Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) – The procedures on this card include
the use of chemical products. These chemical products will be highlighted with
bold face letters followed by the abbreviation (HCS) in the tools portion of the
procedure. See the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) Manual for the
appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS).
Clean Black Release Sheet and Wipe Red Belt Wraps and Toaster.

1.
Turn rocker switch (power) to OFF position and disconnect power from unit.
2.
Put on protective gloves.
3.
Remove bun feeder, rear door and bun chute. Wash in back sink, sanitize and rinse.
4.
Remove front and back panels.
5.
Wipe entire toaster exterior surface with clean sanitized towel.
6.
Remove black release sheet and wipe with clean sanitized towel.
7.
Wipe exterior of red belt with clean sanitized towel. Install front and back conveyor covers.
Turn toaster on, count to 10, turn toaster off. Remove both panels again, and wipe red belt
wraps, reassemble toaster.

Follow steps 1 thru 5 for daily cleaning.
2.
Clean release sheet as described in daily cleaning (above). Reverse belt wraps weekly.
3.
Turn bun compression knobs to "6" and "F". Remove belt pin. Remove both red belt wraps.
4.
Put on protective gloves. Squeeze 3 ounces (1½ ounces per belt) of McDonald"s Vertical
Toaster Cleaner into a breakfast platter. Dip a clean, damp, no-scratch pad into the cleaner.
5.
Place the belt on surface of a clean flat grill. The grill should be at normal operating temperature.
6.
Spread a light coating of cleaner on the belt. Do not scrub while applying McDonald's Vertical
Toaster Cleaner. Turn the belt wrap over and apply a light coating of cleaner. Turn the belt
wrap over again and lightly scrub it. Do this to both sides until belt is thoroughly clean.
7.
Thoroughly rinse both sides at back sink. No soil or cleaner should remain on the belt wraps.
8.
Wipe conveyor belt wrap and release sheet with a clean sanitized towel.
9.
Belt wrap should be reversed weekly. Position the conveyor belt installation tool over the
conveyor. Reinstall the red belt and insert the belt pin. Remove the belt installation tool.
10. Follow the above steps (4 thru 8) for the second belt.
11. Reassemble the toaster, readjust the thickness control knobs (3 for crown, B for Heel/Club).
12. Rinse and wipe the grill with a clean, wet grill cloth.
