4. Secure the pump on a hard surface. The pump should be less than 6 ft. above and less than 6 ft. to one side of
the water source.
5. Connect the outlet hose. Make the outlet hose as short as possible – 25 ft. or less. See following figure (typical
pump shown).
To reduce friction, do not coil or kink the hoses. Keep the hoses as straight as possible.
NOTE:
6. Connect the motor lead wires as indicated in the following table and figure. The pump will start immediately
when connected to power.
Power Supply: The pump is designed for use with a 12 Volt DC battery. Operation requires a minimum 12
Volt power supply.
All wiring must be 12 gauge stranded copper wire that is:
A. Water resistant
B. Oil resistant
C. Flame resistant
In order for the pump to run in the proper direction, the wires must be connected correctly.
NOTE:
This pump is equipped with a permanent magnet type 12 Volt DC motor. Be sure it is connected properly.
