A switch is provided to move from the clock function to the chronometer (timer)function.
There are two possible uses in timer mode:

Count-down
7.1. OPERATION
A set time may be displayed if wished.
7.1.1. Stopwatch function
No set time :
►
Press "START/+". The timer will begin from zero and continue indefinitely until the
"STOP" button is pressed.
With set time :
►
Press the "PROG" button (this function can only be used when the timer is stop-
ped at zero) and set the required time using the "+" and "-" buttons (each time the
"PROG" button is pressed, part of the display begins to flash; adjust the hours,
minutes and seconds in succession).

When programming is completed, press on the "START/+" button. The timer will
begin at the time programmed and continue indefinitely until the "STOP" button is
pressed.
7.1.2. Count-down
No set time :
►
Press "START/-". The timer will begin from zero and conti-
nue for 24 hours or until the "STOP" button is pressed.
With set time :
►
Press the "PROG" button (this function can only be used
when the timer is stopped at zero) and set the required
time using the "+" and "-" buttons (each time the "PROG"
button is pressed, part of the display begins to flash; ad-
just the hours, minutes and seconds in succession).
►
When programming is completed, press on the "START/-"
button. The timer will begin at the time programmed and
stop automatically at zero, and then redisplay the set
time.
