SET UP OF THE DEVICE
The attachment device mode is automatically activated by attaching the
bayonet adapter.
The NW100 comes with a factory calibration that makes it particularly easy
to set up as an attachment. Depending on the optics and the weapon, the
point of impact is already very well matched to the system without attach-
ment ex works. Only a fine adjustment is necessary.
Basically the following procedures are applicable.
1. use as attachment in "Simple" mode
Here the fine tuning is carried out via the menu item sensor adjustment. The
point of impact position can be corrected in 2 or 3 mm steps (depending on
the lens version). Please always save the values so that they are retained
when the instrument is restarted.
2. use as attachment in the "Expert" mode
In this mode the device can be perfectly tuned so that even repeated touch-
ing down and twisting does not change the point of impact.
As a first step, the "Display alignment" is performed. By adjusting the height
and side, the red crosshairs displayed are brought into alignment with the
crosshairs of the optics.
The second step is to adjust the sensor to correct the point of impact. In this
way, you get a system that is optimally adjusted with the highest precision.
