Wiring Light Kit:
1) Remove the bottom cover of the
switch housing by unthreading
screws from side of housing.
2) Make hole in center of bottom
cover by removing plug.
3) Guide the two fixture wires from
light kit first through hole of the
cover and then washer and hexnut.
4) Using approved wire connectors,
connect light kit wires to ceiling fan wires
which should be marked "for light" or
similar.
a) Connect white wire from lampholder
assembly of light kit to white wire from
ceiling fan.
b) Connect black wire from lampholder
assembly of light kit to black wires from
ceiling fan.
5) Tuck connected wires back into switch
housing keeping them apart from one another
on opposite sides of housing.
6) Attach threaded pipe of socket assembly
with cover plate to bottom cover of switch
housing. Tighten with washer and
hexnut on inside of bottom cover.
Mounting Light Kit to Ceiling Fan:
1) Re-mount bottom cover with
attached socket assembly to bottom of
switch housing and secure with screws
on side.
2) The on/off pull chain for the motor
and the light kit need to be directed
through holes in the glass, finial cap,
and finial. If chain has decorative ball
that cannot fit through these holes,
detach breakaway connector with chain
extension and decorative ball from main
chain.
3) Prior to mounting glass install two 60
watt type A-15 bulbs into lamp sockets.
(CAUTION RISK OF FIRE, USE MAXIMUM 60
WATT TYPE A-15 LAMPS)
4) Mount glass shade to socket assembly using rubber gasket, finial cap, and finial as
shown in diagram. Motor pull chain should be directed through side hole in glass shade
and finial cap, while light kit chain should be directed through center hole of glass finial
cap and then finial should be threaded securely onto pipe nipple
5) Reattach the breakaway connector and chain extension to both the motor pull
chain and light kit pull chain.

2. Operation Instruction

The sequence of operation for the motor pull/chain switch is OFF-
HI-MED-LOW.

Push the slide switch RIGHT for FORW
ush the slide switch RIGHT for FOR ARD, and LEFT for

REVERSE action of the blades.
3.
The pull chain switch for the lighting is two positions - ON/OFF.

Even if your fan is mounted with the blades more than 7 feet
